I've been playing SCGT for a couple days now, and so far the game is great.  I
was wondering though, if anyone has noticed if the cars take physical damage?
I know when you hit a wall,  or someone slams you hard; it says that you've
taken body damage.  I've supposedly damaged my car a few times, but have never
seen any actual damage to the outside of the car. Has anyone seen any damage
like crumpled fenders or broken bumpers?  If physical damage isn't in the game,
does anyone know why????

Sad to say.
Anyway, yes, the "damage" does impact the cars' performance.  But there is a
radio button in one of the menu screens to select the damage option (but no,
you won't see any damage).

Kinda makes you wonder about the people at the top of the ladder at those
companies.  Just what color is the sky in their world anyway??  Oh well, it's a
real shame that they can do stuff like that, and put a negative point on a
racer like this.

It's usually the people in the middle of the ladder that are the
problem. Middle management (almost by definition "people who don't
know what they're doing") grows like a cancer in large corporations,
and unfortunately they end up making a lot of decisions.

And who puts "middle management" in the jobs that they're in...?

Middle management is usually people who are moved up to a point where they
no longer cause too many problems.

Beyond even moderately sized corporations ... other middle managers.
Hence the problem (and the analogy with cancer). ;-)

Ever heard of the "Peter Principle"?

You get promoted until you find yourself in a position where your
underqualified/over your head, which is where you stay....

:-)

BTW... How much did you pay for SCGT?

And... Where did you buy it?

And who puts them into their jobs....? At some point you reach the
so-called "top management", and whatever anyone says the buck stops
there. If an organisation sucks or the middle ranks are turkeys
there's little point blaming them for it.

Cheers!
