Hi,
I've seen 3 Formula 1 games out on PS2 and in the screens for each
there is no tobacco advertising on the cars. Is this an option or is
it totally removed? Does anyone know why?

I'm guessing it's because the games are for 'kids', and advertising tobacco
to minors is illegal.  (mileage in your country may vary).  That's my guess
anyways..

I noticed in N4 that there are no tobacco or *** sponsors on the cars.
Even Mark Martin's car is sponsored by Pfizer instead of Viagra.  There are
laws against advertising this kind of stuff to kids, probably so they aren't
always hard up for the stuff.  Sorry, couldn't resist...

You would be guessing correctly.

Mark Martin has run at least one if not more events with the Pfizer
sponsorship so parents won't feel too insecure purchasing the #6 diecast car
for little Johnny, or the big door size poster.  Most likelly most toy or
collectible manufacturers will use the pfizer scheme on products aimed at
younger fans and Viagra for the real 'he-man' fans....
(geez I need a new joke writer...)

Little Johnny sounds like a perfect candidate for Viagra though. ;P

Cheers,
Rod.
