Hi,
I use GP3 with 1.13 patch, no CD patch and gpxpatch and have sometimes,
normally when wethereffect is rain, a slow-motion effect. The car is driving
very slow.

My system:
Athlon 1.2GHz
256 MB Ram
Voodoo 5 5500
newest drivers

I found out something additional, that could help: It's only on the track,
on the gras, the speed is normal!!!!

try switching to 2xFSAA, there's a bug in the 3dfx drivers (or GP3 Hw
gfx programming) that causes the "Fastest Performance" setting to be
slower than the "single chip" or "2 Sample Anti-Aliasing" setting

  That was fixed.  Any driver dated from November 2k onward is properly
fixed.
