When I get to the menu screen in GPL at any track where I can PRACTICE, RACE,
SETUP, or OPTIONS, my mouse pointer DISAPPEARS!!!  I have to reboot.  Has this
happened to anybody?  Please help.

I have VOODOO5 with latest drivers, 1 GHz AMD Athlon with 256 ram.

Thanks, James

thus spoke:

Are you using a custom mouse cursor? If you are then use the standard
microsoft mouse cursor. I have a V5 with latest drivers and don't have
this problem so it's not the video card.

I have found that if I use the D3D patch, and run it under D3D then it works
fine.  And it looks as good as with glide.

I used the mouse that came with my Compaq computer, and I used a Logitech
mouse.  I found that the real problem was the the GPL was locking up as soon as
I entered the race menu.

I have the latest VOODOO 5 drivers.

It locks up with 3dfx.  It runs great with D3D.

Same just I mentioned somewhere here :
Try to set AGP aperture size (or somewhat similar ) in BIOS to minimum.
I had a mouse pointer probelems in other games, it cured. Voodoo's do not
use AGP texturing.
