USB Madd Catz and N3 - PLEASE HELP!!

I did what I hated to do, deleted N3 and re-installed.  Lost all me lap

are fine with it???  Anyone else have this problem?  I've tried everything
the DiretX setting the Papyrus setting.  I don't get it, how could it have
worked fine for a month and then slowly quit working until it won't
recognize pedals and wheel at all, but shifter will still work?

It's DirectX7.  I ended up formatting hd and reinstall win98/dx61.  Only GPL
and N3 have problems though, and calibrates fine in control panel/game
controller applet.  Madcatz says new driver in 3-6 months.
