N3 with Logitech FF USB advantage

Hi, did somebody experience that in N3 or any other racing game with the
Logitech FF
connected through the USB port being quite faster than a game port or
serial port.

The phenomena, i have experience in online race with N3 and LWFF/USB
combo is
, when the race start, i'm allways start faster than any other
competitors, i'm getting a 1 to 2 sec advantage most of the because of
this. I think, it's due to the fact that USB
port is read quite faster and more often than the other port !!!.

Somebody else experience the same thing with the LWFF ???

Maybe the others guys are using 28k8 modems and THEIR information is
therefore a little bit late (lag again...:-) ?

Anyway, a 1 or 2 seconds advantage is VERY much! I mean, I could imagine a
difference of a few hundreds of seconds in some situations, using different
kind of equipment, but 1 or 2 seconds just sounds like too much a benefit
from a USB alone. This effect should be noticable on off-line games too.
Still, I'm no expert. Give it a try with another controller and see what
happens.
Or maybe you're just the faster starter in the world, with or without USB
:-)
