e-dimensional glasses: problems
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi,

I have some problems with e-dimensional glasses in GPL:

The Glasses are working (with old and new batteries), when I turn the head
away from the transmitter, the glasses start flickering. So they show, they
work fine.

The problem:
1.
- In ED-activator the glasses are set to "page flip" and "off".
- I start GrandPrixLegends and go to the driving screen. I activate the
stereo glasses with alt+t, press the button at the backside of the glasses
and stereo image is there.
- Some seconds later, the sound is off and I have to click the left mouse
button, than sound comes back.
- Sometimes, it isn't possible, to change the gears.
- Sometimes the bottom-menue-line from the windows screen appears on the
place, where it is in windows.

I thougt, that alt+t would have had a collision to other GPL- or
windows-instructions and changed the alt+t to ctrl+t and to ctrl+s without
any effort: The problem kept the same.

2.
And: To irregularly times (all 10 - 20 seconds) the glasses switch off/on.
(Very good in online-races ;-))) This last problem is solved by turning the
glasses to "on" in ED-activator, but the rest (see above) stays the same.

My system:
- Windows XP
- latest Nvidia drivers and stereo drivers from the link on your site
(56.03???)
- MSI Graphiccard with Nvidia 5900 XT (brand new card)
- Athlon XP 2600
- 768 MB Ram

Thanks in advance

Rolf

As I remember it, you can re-map the hot buttons w. the eD 3D glasses.
Maybe that would avoid any conflicts.

(I never found the glasses particularly effective with GPL--the effects were
startling with Mobil 1 Rally, perhaps because the scenery is close enuf to
brush up against the car at times--and since the glasses suck so much CPU
juice, I wouldn't think you'd want them on during an online race...unless
you have a MONSTER 'puta.)
