For me it is 1:22.xx. Of course the 'Pros' can do 1:20.xx or less!
Wow!
I don't drive the Lotus, so my best time is 1:21.xx with the Eagle and
Ferrari.
Even the BRM can do 1:22.xx's :-)
Jason.

% >Hi there, just wandering what an acceptable time at Kyalami is?
% It depends upon the standards you use to judge the meaning of acceptable
% I guess. However, 1.21s will get you very far up the grid in an average
% online race and consistent 1.22s or 1.23's in the race with no crashes
% would probably see you on the podium given the nature of the track.
As always, it depends on who shows up. Running in the low 1;21's may
get you about 5-7th on the grid. Racing at consistent 1:22's and 1:21's
may get you a finish in the points. Just don't make any mistakes. I
recall one of our Monday Nite GPL races where Marty U'Ren started 15th
in a grid of 15 (missed practice). He had worked his way up to
3rd or 4th by mid race and chased down the leader with plent of laps to
spare, to go on and win by a good margin. True Jim Clark driving!
