>Kyalami's Nathan to Meet Ecclestone

Aw c'mon...   Old news...  Would you please stop posting to this forum
everything you read on the web, unless it is ON-TOPIC?  Even if I
sometimes find these posts very interesting, I don't thing this
newsgroup is the right place for them.  Unless Bernie Ecclestone
starts making sims...

Oh and BTW, are you sure you're not violating copyrights of some sort
when you're posting articles from the net without mentionning the
original author?  Unless you are the author...  Are you?

I don't know, though - I usually find his stuff informative and
interesting and only marginally off-topic. My computer exists for racing
and the hardware stuff he posts applies to them. Loads of people are
posting stuff about 3D-cards, CPU's, modems etc all the time - seems a bit
harsh to single Chatham out.
Bernie Ecclestone is interesting (though not in this capacity) because he
is usually the person who stops sims getting licences.
Cheers,
Paul

I understand your position...  But IMHO he should at least comment on
the news, not just post it without any informations about the
source...  Those you refer to (the guys talkin about hardware) usually
post tidbits of info they picked from some internet sites in order to
make a point or to illustrate an opinion...  That's not what Chatham
has been doing lately...  Again it's just my opinion, but I still
think many will agree.

And I devote a few minutes every day to hate him better...  C'mon,
Ecclestone, we should all share the wealth, man!

Maybe he could start a weekly newsletter or something, and send it
only to those interested...  Personnally if I wanna hear about
hardware or F1 I read the appropriate newsgroups.  So what I'm trying
to say is he should first of all post to the appropriate newsgroup,
and second he should add an URL or something as to where the info
comes from.

Who haven't had an off-topic post once in a while...  I'm not bothered
when it's occasionnal, but Chatham seems to think he can entertain us
every day with these kind of posts.  I just wanted to sound my
opinions so he knows not everyone's pleased with this.

Now we are common ground. The guy is so corrupt and so money grubbing. I heard
on this forum he asked UbiSoft $13 million for the licence for MGPRS2. Sounds a
hell of a lot. Through his dodgy links with the FIA he got the German truck
racing series cancelled because it was threatened his precious F1 cash cow. I
could go on.....
