T2 Shift Buttons

T2 Shift Buttons

Hello all race fans.  I read a little while back about how some of you
put either shift buttons or paddles on your T2's.  Now that Grand Prix
II is out, I would like to make some of these mods myself.  Racing
around Brazil with one hand on the wheel and the other on the shifter
is getting to be too much for my blister's and caluse's to take!  Yes
I like the track that much.
Please send replies directly to my e-mail address because this group
is too busy to sort through.  Thanx in advance.

        Karl

P.S.  Who else got 2 CD's in their box?

I really can't help you with your question, but I do have a question
of my own.  I plan to purcahse GP 2 and the Thrustmaster T2...Can you
tell me if the T2 works well with GP2, besides the problem you are
having?  Thanks.  BTW, is the X-Axis adpater needed for the T2 (the
thing the converts the pedals to the x-axis or something like that).

Karl,

Re T2 modifications - the clearest explanation I've seen is on the
following web page :

http://www.oz.net/~wottenad/wheel.htm

This site has an excellent set of instructions on how to make your own
wheel and/or pedals, as well as how to modify exisiting joysticks and
wheels etc.

Check it out, it's well worth a look.

ps: I only got 1 CD in the box but it's the best CD I've ever
bought......8-{)>

Cheers....
