I currently have an Intergrpah Intense 3D but would also like to be
able to play alot of the games optimized for the 3D/FX chipsets..
would I be able to add a second video card without any conflicts? If
not, could someone please reply with some suggestions as to what the
best situation may be?

Thanks in advance.

You can add a 3DFX based card with no problem, I used to have this same
setup.  Just make sure to buy an add-on card like the Monster3D or Pure3D.

I have the same card as mentioned and just placed an order for the
Canopus Pure3d - 3dfx. From everything I have heard, there is no
conflict in using any of the 3dfx/Voodoo (addon 3d cards) with the
Rendition 2d/3ds. Just stay clear of the "Voodoo Rush" series as it is
a 2d/3d based on the 3dfx thus you would have to replace the Intense
3d with it. I also understand there is a utility called "Tweak" which
allows you to specify which 3d (Voodoo or Rendtion) is used in titles
that support both. I'm sure someone else with this type of config.
will be able to add more info. I'll jump back in with a report when I
get mine.

NO.  The Pure3D is an add-on card from Canopus.

Reese,
I just bought an Intense 3d 100 a couple of weeks ago when the
price dropped to a hundred bucks. It currently is perfectly cozy at
home next to my Orchid Righteous 3d card. I just love the combo, and
no conflicts at all, and I mean none. I use the Verite for all my racing
stuff and the Orchid for flight sims and Quake. This setup is just
super- enjoy yourself!
        All the best, Mike Davis
