TRD2 Multiplayer Demo.....PROBABLY AMAZING!!!!

Without much hope of CM giving me a viable demo to work with, I loaded up
the multi version and ran thru the setup, profile, gamespy account,
controller assignments, and lo and behold it all worked!! I even found a
race with someone I knew in it, and hopped into my Formula Ford for some
open wheel goodness.....then the green flag dropped, and I was left there,
with no controls of any sort, watching the field get small. Several attempts
to get the game to recognize my MOMO from that point had absolutely no
effect, it will not find the x (steering) axis at all, even tho it did the
first go-round, and even tho all other controls assign normally. Tried both
wheel and gamepad in the control screen, and neither sees the wheel
(keyboard assigns ok, but I won't use it)
Any ideas? I'm going to go root around in the folder and maybe delete my
player info and start fresh, at least give it a chance before I banish it to
the reycle bin of Hell.

If you're having problems assigning the X axis, move the wheel
slightly in the wrong direction and then back in the direction you're
trying to assign.  Only way I can get my MS wheel working.

I had to wrench the wheel 'wheely quickly' in the direction I wanted. If I
moved it slowly or even normally it wouldn't detect it. Just grab the wheel
and WRENCH, it's the only way.

Same here. Just turn it really quickly when assigning it.
