Any ideas on what can be used as a replacement spring on  Thrustmaster 1
brake and accel. pedals. I have tried contacting Thrustmaster by e-mail and
voice but no luck  as of yet.

Try giving them a call cause I'm sure they read 1,000's of Emails a day and

I ended up making a spriing out of a bicycle spoke.  It is just the
right lenth to turn it twice aroud a 3/4" piece of wood.  It doesn't
have quite as much resistance as a "real" spring but it really works
pretty well.
