LTFF/CH Pedals quit. Help!

by Kevi » Fri, 31 Dec 1999 04:00:00

I've got a problem I could use some help figuring out. I have my CH pedals
wired into my Logitech Force Feedback wheel. It's been working great for
several months like this. This afternoon I loaded N3 to get the new tracks
for GPL. I don't think this had anything to do with it, but... When I went
into GPL, I suddenly had no brakes.

I checked on the game controller, and the brake pedal is not working, except
for a small twitch right at the end of the travel. I screwed around checking
all the connections (all seem fine), re-loaded the LT 3.25 drivers, removed
the calibration file, and switched pots in the CH pedals between throttle
and brake. Now the throttle doesn't work either!

I've re-checked all the connections through to the wheel and serial port
d-subs, and it seems OK. I've tried running it on the serial port instead of
USB - same thing. My LT Formula with CH pedals still works fine, plugged
into the gameport.

I'm beginning to think that maybe something on the board in the wheel went.
Any other ideas?

Thanks,
