No Restrictor Plate Racing for NASCAR Racing 2

I have been playing NASCAR Racing 2 for about year now, and I decided that
I would go to the NASCAR Racing 2 directory, in Windows Explorer, and check
out what was there.  I then saw that in every track directory that there is
.txt file which you can alter.  You can change things form, how many cars
you want in the race, to how fast you want the Pit Road speed limit.  I
then found that you can race Talladega (the only restrictor plate race in
the game) without a ristrictor plate.  I have gotten speeds of up to 220
MPH.  It isn't that hard to do, and you don't have to download anything.
Here is the way you do it.  Go to the NASCAR Racing 2 directory, then go to
the Talladega track directory.  From there go to the Taladega.txt file that
should be there, and double click it.  Next,  go to where it has SPDWY, and
then next to it the should be a set of three numbers.  Go to the first one,
and change it from one, to zero.  And from there you are all set.  The only
problem that I have had is that the setup for the race is going to be
drastically altered from what it was to what it is supposed to be.  Another
thing is that the AI can go just as fast, which makes for some good racing.
If you need any help, or want my setup, just e-mail me at

online, don't do this.  I have tried it and it my computer froze up, and I
had many other problems.  I am not responsible for any damage to the
computer, or thereof.  I also have other things that you can alter in the
game, if you want them just e-mail me.  Hope you enjoy it and good luck!

But, not only have I done that, I have altered the Race.lp, Pace.lp, and
Pass.lp files as well.  Now, I have fixed a lot of problems with the
computer cars passing.  I also altered the tracks as well.  I made my own
Daytona, Indianapolis, and Texas tracks.  I got information from NASCAR
Online, and used that when I developed the new tracks.  I also have fixed
the backgrounds of every track, and I made the grandstands and infield
people move.  So now they aren't "froze", they actually move.  Some of the
people also get up and walk.  The pits look different too.  Now there is a
crew at every pit Station for every driver, not just yours.  My next
project that I am working on is making the crew move, like the real ones.
That would probably take a little longer.

I 've done alot of that track stuff too.

I have tried the pit crew moving but it was a real waste of time to me
though
