There's an 8.6 meg movie clip in my GPL directory,  but GPL never plays
it... It's quite nice but I want to know if I can delete it to save HD
space? I can watch it from the CD.

Any time you're wondering if you can delete a file you can rename it
instead.  If everything works ok, then you should be able to delete it.

I think this person already knows exactly what the file is and was looking
for a specific reply, not Tech Support 101.

The movie can be played from the box that pops up when you put in the
CD-ROM.  Assuming you have a full install, then you will never see that
option.  It is possible to delete the file with no deleterious effects
(other than you can't view the clip!!!).
