In my never-ending quest to get Papy to produce an AussieV8 sim :-), or
anyone else with a decent physics engine and multiplayer, the opening
laps of the 94 Bathurst have been uploaded for your enjoyment

Wow, very sensational stuff, I never saw the start of that race -
caught out with some work stuff :( Is that the race where Alan Jones
is leading and then his engine lets go, flames and all?

How sideways did Larry hang that Commodore out??? How did he ever
catch that, and then keep doing it??? Now you've whetted my appetite,
I want more! Any chance of doing any further installments? Pretty
please???

Oh I think I can pretty much guarantee that I'll be doing more stuff, at
least until someone from Papy tells me they're convinced and have
started working on it :-)

I was a fan of Larry's even before I saw this race, afterwards there's
no other driver for me ...:-), but it takes more than one driver to make
a good race, and Brockie certainly does his bit by racing honest, as
does Skaiffe, you can tell there's 3 honest racers on the track who
respects each other

I only have those 3 tapes right now though, someone has borrowed and not
returned my Adelaide500 tapes, the one where Craig Lowndes gets
penalized in the first race and drives through the field from the back
:-), so if someone else has some good clips from the AussieV8 series
that they'd like posted, let me know and I'll see what can be done about
server space, all for a good cause :-)

I used to have a few bits and pieces, but they got wiped at various
stages. Tended to keep quite a few F1 races actually, however the
races that were worth keeping are getting fewer on the ground :( I
wish I had have kept a few of Zanardi's sensational
drive-from-the-back-of-the-grid races, they were damn impressive.

If you could do that Lowndes-Adelaide race that would be sensational,
as I missed it and then read about it all later. Sounded like a hell
of a drive, a pity your tape has gone walkabout.
