Arrangements are being made, but we still need to iron some stuff
out.  A lot of the new (and tentative) info is posted here:

http://www.racesimcentral.net/

The biggest deal is that we need to find another server.

My advice is to go read *all* the stuff, especially about the roster
and sierra ID's.

Interesting, specially the noon (ET), 6 pm (CET) start time. That
means that I can hopefully take part a lot more than I have. 10 pm, as
the old start time was usually meant social life.

Are there any N2003 templates and car viewing programs around so I can
paint my car before I get the game sometime in mid/late february ?

Brian Simpson has posted his NR2K3 templates on the Team Lightspeed
web site.

_templates.shtml

There is no car viewer yet, but one is being worked on, and the guy
writing the app said it may be ready in the next couple of days.

I was gonna do something different than the single color car you have
now.  I can make the primary color black - how's that?

John,
You know me, I'm not choosey. I love the black cars. My own 'race' car is
black and my uniform is black. A black primary color to me is cool. Of
course, no car to date is as cool as Dale Sr. Goodwrench Chevy. Now that was
just a great looking car.
If i could only drive like the man.....

Great news. But then I thought of something, is it possible to make
the .car-file with the viewer or do I need the game to do that ?

well, as a parent of two 6pm CET means social life for me,
while 10pm was usually fine. Count me out and feel free to
reassign my #67.

Cheers & have fun,

uwe

Given all the effort some have put into their cars and numbering, I don't
know that this is a good idea...

"There will be new rules in place regarding user ID's and car files, and
that means that the roster will be wiped clean and re-started. "

The regulars should be guaranteed their old car numbers.
