NO, straight from Sony Intractive. (havn't we been over this already?)

Well, I have heard talk about it around here, and I was just wondering, does
it say no on their website, or somewhere else, cause I was all over the
playstation site last night, and I could not find it...

The guy at Sony mailed me this:
Arrogant or what? That's about 120 English for the PSX + about 150 for the
wheel + about 30 making 300 English pounds for a game! Plus there is talk that
it won't even run on PSX2.
Which means I for one will never own it until a good PSX emulator comes out for
pc - they'll miss out on a whole load of cash from all of us who can't justify
that sort of price on what is just a game.

I got my first look at Grand Turismo today. My friend was showing it to me and
he said that there were parts for the car that the program would not let him
purchase. He didn't know why he couldn't purchase these parts and wanted me to
post the question: Are there certain perameters that allow you to choose these
parts? I know he was looking at the turbo chargers and could not purchase any
of them.
Any info would be greatly appreciated,
Gary
You can't add a Turbo to a car that doesn't start out with one, you can
only upgrade existing turbos. So if a car starts out naturally
aspirated, unfortunately it stays that way.

Just like the real world. TRD, for example, doesn't make a turbo
for some Toyotas.

No spam for me! Unwanted, unsolicited commmercial email

sending the shit if you don't include your own return address?

That's not quite true. It seems that they base the available kits on
what is actually available on the marketplace, possibly only from the
actual supplier listed.
For example, the MX5/Miata is normally aspirated but does have a turbo
kit available for it in GT. However, this seems to be the Mazda kit
and none of the other (real world) after-market kits with more power
are available. (And the Monster Miata V8 conversion isn't available
either!)
Still want my NSX turbo though - I'm told you can win one.
