n2/gp2 problems after upgrade

I just built a new system:

abit bm6, 300a, 128meg ram, matrox mill g200 16meg agp, 12 meg diamond v2,
win98.

Before I had win95 and had no problem with these sims but now gp2 is only
visible on the very bottom of the screen and the same with the sound setup
on n2.  I can live without gp2 now that I have gpl but I need to atleast get
sound setup on n2.  Any suggestions?  Is it a win98 problem or maybe a video
problem?  Anyone have something similar?

  sounds like either a driver snafu or a video problem.
try running the N2 setup program from a a dos boot.
(can win98 boot to dos??)  Or better yet, get N99
later!
