Nascar 2 questions....problems....???

by Lisa McKinle » Tue, 11 Feb 1997 04:00:00

I can't get my "N2Setup" utility to work.  It comes up saying
something about using switches -o and -b.  I type both entering the
"N2setup" but nothing else happens....
Is anyone working on N2 late models?

I STILL can't get my 1997 cars imported.  I downloaded them from IWCC,
and then I click on the .exe file.  It asks where to d/l and I tell it.
But the cars only show up in my .car files, but not on the driver's list
after entering the game.  Do I have to change the name of the .car file
in order to get it to show up in the game???  For example, I d/l the 44
car.  I click on "w97#44.exe", and it opens up.  It shows up as
"W97#44.car" in the NASCAR2/Cars folder.  Do i need to change the name
to "K_Petty.car" to get it into the game...?
  Please e-mail....check out page:

  Still under construction....

No, you don't need to change the name of the CAR file.  I've had this
happen to me as well, and I tried removing the .LST files from the cars
folder to fix it.  I'm not real sure if that's what did it, but it is
working properly now.

What you do is name it Xt_playe and then o into the game and import it in
the paintkit.

Assuming you have the human driver setup as "The Player" that is correct.
If you have your own driver in the game you would use a file format for
that
driver name. In my case it would be Xg_cisko.pcx.
