how well does reactor run dos games ? Do 3d games that are not
optimized for reactor run well or worse? Example: Nascar I.

Regular VGA (mode13 320x200) games are quite slow. VESA 2.0
resolutions are very impressive, nearly as fast as the ET-6000 cards.
NascarI seems no different than it did on my old ATI card (which was
not a fast DOS card either).

It's supposed to be.

166 mhz
32 meg EDO ram
512k pipeline burst
2.2 gig Western Digital 10ms acsess
Triton II chipset
Now with this setup you would think it would not have a problem
running all the graphics, but it does. ICR2 runs great at 30 FPS.
No problem there. GP2, half the graphics there also. I wish I could
say that it's not the video card, but I didn't have this problem
before I installed it. I have a friend that has a P100 and can run all
the graphics except track and grass at 25 FPS. Wish I knew where
my system was ***.

I have a P120, 32MB FP RAM, 256k and I used to have a Millennium 4MB.
My frame rate in Nascar1 didn't drop at all when I switched to Reactor.

What I meant was Nascar1 on my friends P100 can run 25 fps with track
and gras textures turned off. And yes SVGA!!!
I ran Nascar1 tonight with only a boot disk and increased the frame
rate tremendously! GP2, I could run all the graphics with only minimal
framing that's tollerable.
