GP4 + TSW2Mod

I'm revisiting GP4. I recall and have found out, that my TSW wheel
won't calibrate in split axis in GP4.
I was wondering if anyone has found a solution to this, or should I
toss GP4 back into the pile of unused CD's?

Are you using GP4 with the official 9.6 patch (which gives you version
1.02)?
