CMR 4 No Force Feedback?

by Jay » Sat, 28 Feb 2004 09:53:46

Perhaps I just overlooked this in the read-me file or install notes, but
after installing and launching the CMR4 demo I don't seem to have any force
feedback.

I've got an older wheel, a Logitech wingman formula force (red one) that I
purchased back in 2000.

I've tried setting the vibration effects from minimum to maximum with the
same non-results.
Anyone have similar problems and suggestions on how to resolve this?

Also... There seems to be a bit of a lag time with the steering, either that
or the wheel sensitivity seems to be quite acute, either way, I have to put
a lot of steering input into the car before it turns, but when it does it
often causes the car to veer out of control or push terribly.

Again any help would be appreciated.
