I haven't had a chance to play CPR yet, it was unplayable on my system. But
with all the talk of this game here, negative and postive, thought there
might be some interest in the fact it was named gamespot's (affiliated with
the computer *** world magazine) driving game of the year. From the
review:
Best Driving Game
Winner: CART Precision Racing
"If you are a fan of hard-core racing simulations, you must take this CART
for a spin." - Jim Varner, GameSpot Review
Even though Papyrus, the king of driving simulations for the last few
years, didn't release a product in 1997, it might still be difficult for it
to beat Microsoft's CART Precision Racing. With a better driving model than
the last IndyCar Racing game (CART is also an Indy car simulator) and better
support in the garage, CART is clearly the one driving game that took the
checkered flag in 1997.
