I would like to gauge people's opinion of and reaction to the Sierra
"Screamin' 3D" card...Any good?  Any bad?  TELL ME!

Sierra's Card...?

It's a fine card with a nice software bundle, but you will have to deal
with Sierra's abysmal support.  Although it has a less stellar bundle,
I feel that the Intergraph Reactor is a better deal.  The two cards
perform nearly identically (Sierra's claim of being 30% faster is based
on using newer drivers), and the Reactor is $50 cheaper plus you get
Intergraph's outstanding support.   Both perform quite adequately in
Windows 2D and are very fast at VESA 2.0 resolutions.  The only real
drawback to these cards is their slow VGA performance.  I don't own a
game that uses VGA, so it never really bothered me.
