I got a couple of warp laps at Monza while practicing on VROC. One of
them was 54 seconds and another at 1:04. I wish I was that fast!
Anyway, I guess because of how the Global Hype system works, Clark and
Hill are now running Monza in the 1:23s. I imagine the two unreal laps
are now in my average. Is there any way I can reset the AI at Monza? I
can no longer compete with ANY of the AI cars! Help!

There's a nice AI Tweak program that can be downloaded from the Fast Lane at

Delete the player.sts file in your 'players' directory. This contains
the database for how fast the AI players will run. Then edit the
player.ini file to reset the bogus times.

Urp, don't delete your player.ini. Perhaps you mean the player.sts?

Deleting the player.sts will give you a fresh start vis a vis global hype
but unfortunately it affects all tracks.

Perhaps the aforementioned tweak program, indiscreet as that may be, is the
most flexible solution. ;)

Thanks, guys! The player.sts was the answer. I can finish 10th again!

You can delete your player.ini file and start afresh but I think all your
times go with it so maybe best backup first.

How on EARTH did you manage to finish your lap at Monza in jut 54 seconds?

Or have I missunderstood?
