Tyan & Verite

Just a quick note for all of you Tyan motherboard owners and Verite
based video cards.  Just received a message from a rep of Tyan that
Intergraph will be showing up at Tyan later this week with all of their
boards to help solve the DMA problems tied to Tyan's motherboards and
PCI latency/DMA timing.

I don't get it. Someone is this group said that it's not Tyan's
BIOS'es that don't have a PCI latency setting, it's Intel's 430VX
chipset that has this setting .. er.. 'hardwired'. So what are they
gonna do? Put out a VX-specific verison of the Reactor?

[Sorry, my ISP does not carry the c.s.i.p.h.motherboard.* hierarchy]

Sincerely, Karim
