rec.autos.simulators

I just got the awsome cars at IWCCARS and downloaded them. I have setup
my multi list for the race (My friend has the identical cars set up too)
But now when we qualify he shows up on my machine (and his) in say
second  on the race pole. But when we go to race he is some where in the
back of the pack. and there is NO car in the second pole possition. Have
we messed up some where in the configuration? All the cars work well on
normal race (no multi) mode. and the game worked fine when we ran the
original cars with the game. Do I have to edit some sort of list or file
and (my friends system too?)

And If you could could you please tell me if (in the multiplayer mode)
does my friends car need to be under MY car in the list? or does it find
his car automaticaly?

You need to have you friend configure his set the same as yours car for
car.  His set must have his name first and your set must have your name
first.  All cars after this must be identical.  What will happen then is
the second car in line will become the person who dial in's car so no
matter what shows up there will be your car. So if you have Rusty Wallace
as the second car in line on both machines who ever dialed will drive the 2
car.
