Grand Prix Manager

We all know that Microprose (a.k.a. Microprophylactic) is not issuing
any more release copies of Grand Prix II or Grand Prix Manager.
Theyve dumped the publishing of these games completely.

As aggravated as I am in regards to GP2 not being supported, I have to
ask if Grand Prix Manager worth the purchase?

I am aware that a v1.02 patch is availabe (which is far more than GP2
will ever receive).  Does this cure all of the original ailments?
Its obvious that support cannot be a decisive purchasing criteria
because it simply does not exist.  So does the game have enough merit
and playability to stand on its own or is the CD only suitable for
simulating a cold drink coaster?

Thanks for your input.

In my opinion it pretty lame and "unrealistic" it gives you all true
specs and the
management stratagies. But Ive seen better cars on "Auto Racing" for the
Intellevision.
