Ahh, someone fixed that rear camber problem! :)
Can you post the URL here?

Thanks,
Jason.

I think just by copying the WG setup, I also got the -1.8 rear camber.
Isn't that what your utility does?  My first setup was I think for Bristol.
Whooboy were the Esses fun!  :)   I have been able to get round the track
now..

thanks for the input btw

Actually, the rear camber is not stored in the car or the setup files;
rear camber is controlled by the track file itself, and hence the need
for the Road Atlanta patch . . . which can be found here:

You can grab the Road Atlanta rear camber fix here:

http://irlheat.bhmotorsports.com/RoadAtlantaFix.zip

It changes the rear camber to -1.8 left and right (fully symmetrical),
which makes it easier to get a good car setup otherwise.

Enjoy!

Erm... is this Nascar?  I thought they had live rear axles
- how do you get camber on a live axle?!?

Take a  2x4 piece of lumber.  Place near the upper portion of the rear
wheels.  Then gently TAP the 2x4 with a very large railroad gauge sledge
hammer.  Repeat if neccessary.

Yeah, I know. There are actually people who think these things with
billboards tacked all over them are racing cars. Go figger.

There are people that think slot cars that use magnets to hold them to the
track are racing kit too.

Peasants.

Which part would that be that was close to CART?   The Road Course racing
with top drivers or the empty stands at the ovals?

I'm not a huge die-hard CART fan, but it blows the doors off the Ignorant
Racing League.  As far as another NASCAR sim, I'm still waiting for Papy to
fix the SEGA GT damage model they implemented into N4.  Nothing like doing a
barrel roll 25 times and then flying 15 feet in the air, then having your
car roll over so you can drive it to the pits, get repairs, and still be
competitive in the race.  And that's the REALISTIC damage.  I suppose I
really ought to test the arcade damage.  =)

Hey John... you mind being careful where you drop that parachute of
generalizations on being narrow minded?   If being narrow minded means I
think the IRL is a joke, well then I'm guilty as charged.   I don't
particularly like F1, but I still respect it.   I don't even acknowldege the
IRL as a major autoracing body let alone respect it.  I have respect for the
danger and the drivers actually racing, but not the league or the
sanctioning body.

I haven't noticed as NASCAR Heat ended up the same place as N3 did for me..
in the heap of empty promises and propaganda titles.  Although I have
visited sim-editing.com

There you go with that parachute again John.   Who says I'm dedicated to N4?
Quite frankly...  I run GPL and CMR2 a hell of alot more than I do N4.

Considering the attendance and TV ratings for an IRL event are about
equivalent to a flow-bee infomercial, I doubt there would be a huge market
for an IRL title.

It's perfectly the way we drive ours cars here in Malaysia.

They use splined connections, so you can get a little bit of camber by
heating up and bending.  The rules limit this to 1.8 degrees, because people
used to bend it too much and have failures while racing.
