Heard from Mike Frazer on a message board it should be out today. That's of course probably the shipping date, so look for it soon.

My review of the game.
Got the game this evening 02/18/99. The introduction is great and the look of the cars is awesome. Other than that, don't spend the money. The game play is so bad it isn't even enjoyable. Some of the options are more than questionable. For example, the computer controls the player's car once the yellow flag is out, and will crash the car during a yellow. Using the in-car view, it seems choices are limited, for example, speed and gear can not be seen. Neither can the yellow flags. The computer also controls the car once entering pit lane. Multiplayer games are limited to modem, serial or IPX, no internet play here folks. The sound, if it would function properly, is good but guess what. Don't get e***d after seeing the demo, my big mistake. Slow down was noticeable using a Pentium II 300 with 128MB RAM, 4MB Creative Labs rendition video, 12MB Creative Labs Voodoo2 video, Creative Labs 128bit sound and a 24x CD-ROM drive. The demo worked wonderfully. The potential for this being a fun game to play was there, it just didn't make it onto the CD that was packaged for sale to the public. Course I should have known something was up. Anyone else have trouble with EA's website regarding the game. Do yourself a huge favor and avoid the frustration of this game.
