is it me - or is that first car painfully slow?  I really cant be bothered
to get to 180 credits for something with a litle go.  Are the other cars
much faster?

What are you comparing it to? The Rally Trophy demo only had the Mini in it,
but it was still fun ;-)

All the AI cars have the same car as you, so you should be able to lap
competitively & learn the track & racing line. Speed is relative to your
opponents, not the track.

It'll only take you a few races, then you can find out for yourself how fast
the other cars are ;-)

Hi, i know it's relative, and i can lap faster than AI no problem, it's just
tiresome having so little power.  And comparinf to a Mini - one of the
greatest competition cars ever proves nothing.

You can unlock all the cars within 10 minutes.

Just race all the AI at the test track a few times, add them all and set
them to Pro, you'll win every time.

Thanks for that - just done it :D

Well - what can i say - other cars are much better.  The turbo is very well
done - the lag, the way pressure builds, and the sound.  Even the dump valve
is done properly.

Any ideas as to when the game is due proper?

I'd love to 'em model at least one oval track (superspeedway, perhaps).
That would, IMO, put the drafting model to the test. :)

It's gonna be a great sim, IMO. One that I'm planning on supporting when
it's released.

It is slow, but when you get the hang of it it really is fun. You can
really chuck the little hatchbacks about.

Stick with it, because the GT cars are much quicker.

Personally, I love this sim, not least because of the great view out of
the***pit.

Just chage the track to the skidpad (in the latest demo) and start a race
with a few AI.  You will have lots of points in no time.

If you say so, Ashley.

No, I honestly admit that I'm ***ed to oval track racing (but local
dirt tracks turn me off). ;)
