I really can't believe you can be so far behind the times. Everyone knows
the PC is going nowhere. It's time to upgrade to a Mac!!!!

ROTFL!!!!

DOS Versions 2-5 were a rip off!  I wouldn't consider them an upgrade at
all!  Just stay where you are at, you should be able to run any program on
the market very smoothly.  You may consider getting a 3D accelerator card,
but that should do it for at least 2 years.

Todd

DOS 5.0 or...????

Bruce...

Forget the advice on upgrading that dog, as the PC
is dead!  Macfiles will attempt to persuade you to
join the liberal ranks of the Apple-set, but don't
do it!  They'll force you to wear plaid shirts,
carry a solar calculator, and trade in your family
car for a Volkswagen...or worse, a Subaru!

Listen to me, Bruce...The Amiga is the system of the
future!  Upon joining the Amiga-elite, women will
flock to your doorstep, choirs will sing your praises,
and you'll never want for vegimite again!

The doors of the Amiga-world await you, each one
propped-open with one of these beauties!  ;)

Cheers!

Marc

Marc, that does it, I`m trading in my Atari 1040 STe for an Amiga, I`ve
been using a PC emulator for racing N2 on TEN, but compared to this, I`m
stunned, I`m sold, I`m ........hooked

Wow! Did you say a "3-D accelerator card"??
Is that one of those credit-card things that I can also use to get cash
with at a thing called an "auto-teller"??  Are they really as fast as
they say?

Would that be a Big mac or a Quarter-pounder? :o)
(More importantly, does it come in SVGA?)

Bummer!!
I traded in my Amiga 500 back in 1991!! On a VW beetle, too!!!!

Now, to think that I should have kept it and ignored that clever, clever
salesman who told me that MS-DOS was the way of the future!!

Curses!!!

(Psssst........it's "Vegemite....with 3 'ees', Marc!)

Yes...The huge, untextured polygons are quite impressive, no?

I'm afraid that'll do you no good, Goy...Atari has now become the
*** competitor to the Amiga, and they've discontinued their
rebate offer accordingly.

There is a way around this, however, but it involves your trading
the Atari in for the Tandy upgrade and then swapping the whole
lot for an Intellivision...I hear Mattel items are quite popular
with the Amigazens, as they use them to switch on 'n' off their
Malibu Lighting systems.

Cheers!

Very, not to mention the sound coming from the built-in speaker in the
monitor, blows away that miserable pc-speaker any day, AND it has a
volume control, you don`t get that on your pc-speaker Bruce, hah

Rats, seems I`m always a tad late when it comes to upgrading my hardware

Mattel !!! That means I could maybe trade in my collection of Barbie and
Ken (I have some great racing-gear for them) along with 2 copies of
Aqua`s "I`m a Barbie girl", GREAT NEWS
