I maintain that there is a moderately-decent physics engine at work
here, with some VERY poorly implemented controls and sounds.  The
sounds in particular can REALLY take away from a sim -- try playing
GPL, N4/N2002, NASCAR Heat, F1 2001, or SCGT with NO sound and you'll
realize how much you lose if the sound's not there (same thing applies
if it's not right).  

Overall, not a game to go out of your way for, but it can be something
of a diversion, and the tracks really are gorgeous, FWIW.
