Sorry if this old hat I'm new here. I'm a GPLaholic although I'm no Jim
Clark - I just scrape inside 9 minutes round the Ring !
This is my query - When I run version 1.0 with my AMDK62 350 + Voodoo2  I
get a steady 35 fps which is ok ish but I'd prefer more. When I run version
1.1 I get just 24 fps or even less - not enough to control the car for me
I'm afraid. I tried v1.2 this runs at 45 fps but varies down to 24 fps every
other second - infuriating ! I'm back on v1.0 now.
Anyone else found similar or can advise ?
Considering second Voodoo2 SLI , Good plan ? Or will I end up with the
constantly varying frame rate I got with v1.2 ?
All comments welcome

did you disabled switching on vsync in your display settings?

I have two V2 in SLI (albeit w/ a celery 500) and this gives me
steady 36fps at 800x600 with almost all details on. I don't know
how it will look like on your AMD though.

Is your problem when offline?  If so, do you have a pci modem?  If yes, disable
the modem before launching gpl.  I have the same problem offline.  online is
great.  hope that helps.
good luck

How do you determine frame rate? I know my way around computers and
gave played a number of computer games but have no idea how to get this
info.
