Sierra Direct Order in yet?

Want a laugh, I ordered on 10/06/96 3 copies via credit card.  On Dec-5 I
called my credit card company and had been charged $162/Copy for N2 Times 3
Plus Shipping = 500 and some change mabey 516 or something like that.  I
call Sierra and the Customer rep tells me Yep, It went out the 3rd, 3
copies of N2 at $162 ea.

I about had a heart attack.  I said, "WHAT DID YOU SAY!!!  DID YOU SAY $162
EA???"

She says, "Yea...... that does seem like a lot, doesen't it??."

No s___ thats a lot.  When I see people on the newsgroup paying $29.00.
So I stay on the line and complain about the prices through Distribution
for small dealers as well as the fact that I'm really a regestered user of
N1 so she gives me the 3 copies at $29 + shipping.  (Remember, I paid for 2
day shipping)

Here it is December 9th, NO Nascar 2.  After trying all day to call cust
support, I get through at about 5:30pm EST and low and behold it's UPS's
fault.  They try to tell me that UPS didn't show that they took delivery of
the package until Dec 6.  I'll have mine tomoro, 2 Day air.  What a crock
of Horse-s___.  I ordered some Video cards from a company that I never
dealt with before, Yesterday, spoke to them at 5:50 pm.  The package
arrived this morning UPS GROUND from NJ to PA. Yea, UPS sure needs to work
on their act.  Like I wanted the stuff by 8:00 PM same day.  Something
tells me UPS never got my copy in their hands, (ie, more BS from Sierra)

Just in case anyone from Sierra reads this,  I was actually calling today
to order a Screamin 3D cause again, Distribution has none (Ingram).  But
after the lines were busy for 8 hours and then I got lied to, I think I'll
call Intergraph.

Pissed off at Sierra? This how to give them a wake-up call! I'm sure
they know readers of this NG will buy Nascar2, no matter how much
they SUCK. In the market for a 3D card? Don't even consider the Screamin
3D. Give Intergraph a call!
