Papyrus,

I have replaced all of the signs in my Nascar 2 Game to correctly

distribution of these pcx files????? (Includes Biglogo#,pcx &
event#.pcx for each track)

Question #2.  I have done the same for representing the Texas,

California.  I did not modify the tracks, but modified the trklogo.pcx
and trkshot.pcx for some realism. Would Papyrus/Sierra OnLine have a
problem with distribution of these files for those who would like a
FULL Season?

I can send these to one of your company represenatives to look at if
you'd like to see them before being distriubuted.

Thank you,
Randy Young

ps.  In your opinion could you please include whether or not any of
these sponsors would have a problem.  There have not been any problems
to date, that I know of, with the distribution of cars with the
various sponsors, being they're not for profit.

I would certainly be interested in a copy of them if you wouldn't mind
e-mailing them to me.

I just have one question. I am not being sarcastic when I say any of
this either.  While I truly admire your ability to change the signs that
you pointed out, I do have to ask the question why?  I know that when I
am racing, looking at the pretty signs is the last thing on my mind.
Again, I am not trying to discredit or upset you, just making a
statement.

Well, I can't speak for the one who changed the signs, but I can hazard
to guess.  Some will go to any length to increase the realism in their
simming world.  I am sure that if Papyrus/Sierra could have gotten the
rights and didn't have to worry about "booze" & "ciggy" ads  they would
have put them all in.

Another thing is that it is a way of sharing their sim enjoyment with
others by sharing them on the net.

However, I do understand your puzzlement.  I too sometimes wonder at the
lengths some and even I will go at times.

Now to go so far as to put a quartz heater under the desk cranked wide
open and a pot of burning oil next to the monitor, well....  to each his
own...

lack of reguard to reality...

Is that with or without the Bell helmet strapped on along with the nomex
gloves?  Also do you have your sim***pit on hydraulic jacks for pitstops?

I beleive he was talking about the logos in the pre-track 'room' where
you pick which track you're gonna race at, at what difficulty, etc.

These logos are in *.pcx form in the individual track subdirectories. I
think redoing them is a great idea, I wanted to after I updataed my
calendar for the 97 season, but no time. I really appreciate that someone
took the time to do it and is offering them to the public.  Thanks!

Matt

I've never seen a response to the original post.  Does Sierra have any
problems with someone distributing updated pictures?
