3 new GP3 screenshots

by Michael La » Mon, 04 Oct 1999 04:00:00

Hi!
I have added 3 GP3 new screenshots to http://www.racesimcentral.net/

They are scanned in from PCGamer UK version.

They are of:
A jordan***pit
A front/left side view of an arrows
A screenshot with 3 ferrari***pits and a replay view of a stewart.
The quality of the sreenshots in the magazine look much more detailed and
sharp - I had to lower the resolution so that they will not take too much
time to download.

Thanks,
Michael

Hi mate,
What is in the mag about GP3 before I go off and buy it, does it give a
preview or just 3 shots of it or what?

Tnx in Advc.

PCGamer talks about the features of GP3, nothing we don't already know or
can find on the net.
It has a few screenshots, but I uploaded them. Buy it if you want, though
GP3 info is limited, only a double page.

Sweet... The game GFX looks good even for software mode. Can't wait to
see the rest.

Agree !  It seems that Crammond's game engine is really working well from a
graphical POV even if I would had liked more polygons (per example in the
columns on the right in the Jordan***pit it's a bitmap compared to real
polygonal in GPL at Monaco IIRC).  Look at the little picture of the
Stewart-Ford and take a 1meter distance.  You could swear it's an actual
picture from the real-life Monaco GP.  And one of those screenshot is from
GP2, look at the right of the Jordan***pit it's the original***pit from
Gp2 :)

These do look good.

Has anyone commented on the quality of the multiplayer play in GP3?
Will Internet play even be possible?

I'm not sure about internet play...but there is a 4+Lan option.
I think Hasbro are reluctant to pay the extra money to the FOA so that they
will give permission for net play.
Thanks,
Michael
