Then I looked in the actual linked page:

As I understand *noone* has produced a track of any kind to F1 2001(Or
F1 2000 or F1 CS 2000), even though there are many to SCGT. That makes
me not wanting to believe it's coming to F1 2001 until I see an actual
screenshot from it. :(

I should add a caveat, though. It's strange that everywhere on
racesimcentral it says it's for SCGT *and* F1 2001, but in the actual
posts he just writes about SCGT, no mention of F1 2001 anywhere...

It's also that many on highgear in the know said that it would be
extremely hard to produce a track for F1 2001 because of unknown parts
of the file formats. But I guess that can change... <shrug>

BTW for all you SCGT enthusiasts (and I am not talking about Somatic Cell
Gene Therapy), is the AI any better these days?  I remember the AI to be
dead slow in the corners and then gain a few hundred extra HP on the
straights.

   The SCGT ai is still the same ol crash off the road bunch of
overcorrecting try & pass on both sides of the road and take everyone else
behind you as well.  The only work on SCGT except for the first patch and
the AOE have been done by private users.  ISI got pulled away from SCGT and
thrown to the F1 project.  Think of the F1 2001 GT mod as the sim that SCGT
'shoulda' been.
