Use of MadCatz Wheel\Pedals

by Tim VanDamm » Sun, 08 Jun 1997 04:00:00

I could use some help from anybody who might be able to. I purchased
the NASCAR2 game and then purchased the T2 wheel from Thrustmaster.
It needed an adapter I guess, so I returned it and bought a Analog
Wheel\Pedal
Combo from MadCatz, Inc. I still cannot get the wheel to be recognized by
either
Windows95 nor N2. I can get Windows95 to recognize the wheel through the
joystick setup until I get to the pedals. It accepts the accelarator but
not the brake.

MadCatz suggests that the computer setup is incorrect. I have a friend who
believes
that it may be the game\sound card I have. I just don't know but playing
with a joystick
or with keys is BOOOORRRIIINNNGGG!!

If anybody can HELP ME, I thank you in advance.

Use of MadCatz Wheel\Pedals

I too own the MadCatz Equipment, and it works fine with NFS. However,
conected to my soundcard, I have calibration problems with Screamer, and
connected to my controller/game card, it is only identified as a
2-button-joystick. Guess its a computer setup problem, too.  Try
disabling the game port at your soundcard (jumpers!) and connect the
wheel to your controller/game card or vice versa. If any of this halps,
let me know.
