Yes it is Dave, though the briefings will be messed up, iirc, been awhile.
But the gameplay itself is ok.

Dave this is from the original non patched readme.

"3D Accelerator support is provided through both D3D and 3DFX modes"

Mitch

BTW have you tried IL2?

Btw Dave, if you don't know it already, the game comes in 640/480 by
default.  However, you can change it to whatever res you want, in it's .ini
file.

Thanks  John...I saw it for $9 bucks in a jewel case cd...figured the
docs would be pretty minimal.

I know it doesn't answer your question, but if you haven't tried it, check out IL-2 Sturmovik,
probably one of the best out there right now....

That is a fun one.   Padlock view stinks though.

Great game!  There's a ton of upgrade/add-on material avail from the flite
sim community.

I can fly into the ground with the best of them :)

You think NR2002's wall-riding penalty is stiff?

Steve, if you like jets at all, the developer recently released a new
sim called "Strike Fighters - Project One".  I haven't had much time
to play it, but it seems to do a nice job of modelling F-4's and
really glitchy guided missiles (was re: woops my missile somehow
locked onto a friendly).  Project One is set in Vietnam-era, and
apparently the goal is for it to be a completely extensible sim a'la
racing legends.

My fav modern-era jet sim was F-15 (earlier fav: Microprose's F-14 Fleet
Defender).  Project 1 sounds worth a try.
