I didn't say best :) I said "one of the best" :) Don't take it out of
context thanks :)

No, I haven't won the championship yet. Still seeing how the setups
affect the cars on different surfaces, and getting use to the
co-driver, steering etc.

In my first A7 rally I did place 5th overall though :)

One of the developers provided the cheat for the 4wd A8 cars in RC at
another forum. It was given in a response to the review of the game by the
world's best sim driver. We all know who he is. I'm sure he doens't need it
because he's already won the Championship and unlocked the A8 cars, but for
the rest of you, here it is.  :-)

"In player four's details screen change the name to "turbo challenge"(no
quotes), you should hear a buzz if it's correct. You will then be able to
play the A8 Sim game.

One point though... All your time codes that you generate will be invalid
but if you quit to desktop and then start it up again the config will think
it's normally unlocked and your times codes will no(w) be valid.

BTW this work around for the time code will not work for any other cheats.

Enjoy the A8 mode"

The warez version of RC has been everywhere since a couple of days already,
so the guy might just had a week to race it and brag about winning the
championship.

But if it's real, it should be the "world's best rally sim driver".  Like
you are the Formula 1 World Champion, not the best driver.  Or the
WinstonCup World Champion.  "Best" is a word that can be defined only by a
group of people in our society.  It's how it works, since it's related to
everybody's opinion which assembled gives us a realistic average and overall
opinion.  Like that on ras GPL is the best racing sim 8)

Thanks for the code.  Im having color palette problems which I think are
related to the V3 3000 FYI.

I was referring to Ian's review in this newsgroup and at HG.  I was just
poking a little fun at him. :-o

As for your V3 problems, I found this at HG too:

"For those having trouble seeing the incar view during weather events, ie:
no wipers and flicking dash; you will need to install a slightly older
version of your VooDoo3 drivers. V1.02.18 of the voodo3 driver will solve
this issue. Worked for me."

Maybe it will work for you too.

Ah, thought we were extrapoling back to our previous debate 8)

Thanks I'll look into those older drivers.

Like I told ymenard, I was just having a little fun with you, which is why I
didn't put your name in the post. :-)

Ooops ;-)      My point was never against you (had no idea it was you).  I
think it was just the fact that there isn't a best "World wide simracer"
awards.. Each type has their best.  FastKev on the NROS was awarded
officially by Nascar the 1999 NROS Championship but on GPL, RC, MGPRS2, bike
sims, etc.. it's all different.

Are you saying it's a must buy :o)?

/Chrille, and if I'm not mistaken, you should be pretty close to more track
time in a kart right about now, right?
