GP2 Track Pack setups

Hi,

I recently bought the GP2 Track Pack add-on CD. I'm not sure about the
exact name (I think it's Ultimate Grand Prix 2 or something), but it
contains new tracks like Brands Hatch, Melbourne, Nurburgring, Paul
Ricard, the changed Imola track, Argentina and so on).
They're great tracks, it's just that I can't seem to be able to find any
good carsetups for these tracks (except Melbourne, where I'm about 6
secs faster than any computer-car in Ace-settings... before anyone
thinks I'm that good, I think that's just because the computer driveline
is not the most optimal one).

So I was wondering, is there anyone out there who would be so kind to
send me any useable carsetups for these tracks? Please mail them
directly to my mailaddress, not to this newsgroup (you wouldn't want to
overload it).

Or maybe someone knows a website where I can find any setups for the
TrackPack-tracks? This would be helpful as well.

Maybe someone could tell me what the best times driven on these tracks
are, because I looked at the times the ace-computercars drive, but since
Melbourne is so way off (as I mentioned above), maybe the other tracks
aren't representative either...

Thanx

I can't answer your question, but would like to know where you got the
Track Pack.  I didn't know it existed, and would like to get one myself.

I don't know which country you're from, but I got my copy in Holland,
where I've seen it standing on the shelves many times. So it shouldn't
be hard to find it. Again, the name is (I believe...) 'Ultimate Grand
Prix 2 Track Pack', the box is dark green, and at the bottom it says
something like 'unofficial add-on' or something. Besides the tracks, it
also includes all kinds of editors, setups (for original tracks,
dagnabbit...),***pits and such. It cost me about 40 guilders.
That's all I can tell you.
Bye!

My brother Michael and I thank you!  (I gotta talk to him about that silly
mistake at Monaco!)

Don't know about track setups, but there are two sites that you need to
check for new tracks and updates on the ones you got:

a) Track Manager : http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/Speedway/7479/new.htm
b) Track Editor : http://volftp.tin.it/GP2/trackedit/index.html

You will find great things in there.

Nice racing,

You might be interested to know that there are now many additional tracks
available for GP2. F R E E !!   Many of them are much better than the ones from
the trackpack.

Center of activity is the track editing forum at:

http://www.mircx.com/cgi-bin/forum.cgi?forum=Tracked

The track editor homepage is somewhere at:

http://volftp.tin.it/GP2/

There, you can donwload lots of them.

Also at   http://gp2.com

Have fun (and weep because you actually BOUGHT extra tracks  ;-)   )
