F1RS patch question !

by The Rodste » Thu, 09 Apr 1998 04:00:00

Hey guys I just got F1RS the other day. I d/l ver 1.08 (glide) and the
direct sound patch. I placed both files in my UBISOFT/F1RS directory. I
executed both of them. When I start the game I still see version 1.00 on the
main screen.

How do I know I am running patch v1.08 ? The only difference I noticed was,
it no longer was pitch black driving in the Monaco tunnel.

Thanks,

-The Rodster

Hey man!  Long time, no?

This may have been a typo in the installation.

Cheers!

I think the first menu that you see come  up when the CD autoloads is the
installation program menu and that stays at version 1.0.
Try typing "ver" during the game to see the version #.
