The aafo site has a preview of the Aircraft Pylon Racing Sim from Victory. I
am really looking forward to this.

Oh great!  After spending the last 3 years learning how to drive a 1967 Grand
Prix car, now I have to spend the next, what?, 5-10 years learning how to fly a
5,000 horsepower P-51, 10 feet off the ground, in traffic???  My wife is going
to love this.  Hey Sven, can your wife call my wife and talk to her?...

That looks really good.. two things, though -

1) I wanna see what a crash looks like
2) I know it's a reality-based sim, but come on  - let's get some bridges,
smokestacks, and skyscrapers in there...

You're joking, right?

Nope, not joking.

I mean, why not?

you can still have lots of races around pylons and stuff. Hey, don't get me
wrong, I'm a big flight sim fan. Unquestionably, standard, "real life" courses
would be thrilling. I'd still like as many of the standard courses as they wish
to include.

Ever try Crimson Skies, though?

There's room for it. I'm not talking about doing it in a cartoony way, either.
Real life.

At least you don't have compression and rebound settings to worry
about!

Nah, you'll need to deal with simple things like blade pitch and trim
settings ;)
