Is there REALLY a N2 track pack or patch coming out soon? I would like
some concrete (excuse the weak pun) information about this, not just
rumors or speculation. Is there going to be Daytona and/or Indy on it?
What WILL be on it? Does someone out at Papyrus know yet when it
will be released. And by the way, what's the status on ICR2?

ICR 2 is Indy Car Racing 2. It's more for the sporty-car crowd, but
has some ovals (Nazareth, Milwaukee, Michigan, Loudon). All the tracks
can be converted to NASCAR 1 (NOT NASCAR 2) so if you have N1 and ICR2,
you can really have a blast! Imagine racing a 3500-lb. Winston Cup xcar
through the streets of Detroit...!

A few answers, I think. Yes, Sierra is definitely working on a patch to
N2. This has been posted here by the guys working on it. No date
announced (a smart move considering past history). Daytona and Indy
would not be on any patch, don't even hope. Maybe a new Track Pack
later, but the odds for that are slim IMHO. The patch will most likely
include a SAVE RACE option, along with fixes for the most common bugs.
It seems that ICR2 is a dead issue with Sierra. I hope that's not the
case, but that it general opinion on the newsgroup at this time.

You would think (or hope) that if there is a future track pack for N2
that it would at least have Texas, California, an updated Atlanta, and
perhaps even the Suzuka track. These tracks I would believe are all
available for Papyrus to create without the legal fuss like Daytona and
Indy. If they did do these though, it probobly would not be available
until Christmas or beyond since they are all "new" and have held no
races.
