Try reinstalling some of you old video and/or sound drivers. Do this by
running Dxsetup and selecting restore video and/or audio drivers.  I
installed DX5 and lots of my games stopped working. I then reinstalled all
my drivers I had before my DX5 installation and got all but 1 game back to
working order. I run that one game by changing 1 set of drivers to the
previous version. But that is another story.

Forgot to add this in my last post. Trying getting the latest drivers
for your video and sound cards. Or try reinstalling your drivers.

hmm.  I've had problems with installing n2 after having installed IE, but
the problems were all on the IE-apparent.  Perhaps you can get the version
of wininet.ini from the Win95 system disk and copy it over what is present.
 (Then try it again, etc.)
