I tried it on my Leadtek GF4 Ti4400 at 350/650 - and I get a totally ***
frame rate - so I just have it at 1600 without AA instead

In  the setup program set fsaa to off and then set FSAA on on in the nvidia
graphics properties, or vice versa, in f1 2002 seto set to fsaa on but set
nvidai to auto. It runs and looks great on My GeForce 4400ti with quincunx
FSAA with no frame reate loss eben at 1280x1024.

Believe it or not I get double framerate with FSAA with the 16.30 drivers.
The 2x.xx drivers are terrible with FSAA.

Download the 16.30 drivers from www.guru3d.com and try them out !

How do you check your FPS in F1 2002?

How do you check your framerate in this game?  Or can you?  Do I need a 3rd
party program?

Thanks,
 Chuck

If any game benefits from anisometric filtering, it's the harsh-looking
F1200x series.  I'd run a high-tap aniso before I'd run *any* FSAA!

Agreed.  I'd rather run at 1280x960 with no FSAA than 1024x768 with 4xFSAA
any day!

Chuck,

Just hit the Crtl and f keys at the same time while you are driving.
