I know everyone is talking about frame rates. I listed all the settings for
the game and the track I tested on, if you have the time please copy the
same setup and post your findings. Thanks
Game options:
42 opponents
Damage realistic
Weather Default (clear, 70)
Track Texas motor speedway
Graphics
OpenGL 800*600*16
Car detail High
World 90%
Drawing distance 50%
in mirror 30%
Max oppenets drawn 42
in mirror 3
mirror detail MED
Track side objects ALL
Animated pit crew ON
Steering wheel OFF
Quality
ALL setting ON
Effect
ALL settings ON
Sound
EAX no 3d sound
Max heard 8
Force Feedback OFF

My results:
42 low and 81 High Average 63
And a big thank you to my wife for reporting the number in realtime for me
as I was driving!  :)

Setup is
1 GHz over clocked to 1250 GHz
NVIDIA GeForce2 GTS/Pro
256 megs PC150 memory
And on old V4 racing wheel.

Hi!

Pretty much the same specs of my coming system. What fps are you getting in
D3D-mode then? And is it a PIII- or an Athlon-system?

May we have your system specs? 'i.e. PII 90mhz 32megs of ram etc?

Athlon and I am getting a lower score with D3D.
